Wonderful Winter Weekend

On Saturday, Justin had to do some work at the firehouse, but the kids and I stopped by for a few minutes to see what was going on. The kids got to sit in the fire trucks and run around a bit before we went back home. Then the 3 of us rode the gator around, hanging up my new wreath on the fence and filling the bird feeders with seed. It was a gorgeous day to be outside so the kids enjoyed being out and about.

Sunday morning, I took both kids to church by myself so Justin could get on the tractor and get some work done around the cabin. Once home, the kids changed clothes and were back running around outside. Levi was busy working and told me he didn't need to say cheese for the camera. He was a little upset that Mattie was riding on the tractor with Daddy and not him.

Mattie was getting tractor lessons. Everybody has to pull their weight around here and she's about to be 3 so it's time she learns how - somebody has to cut the meadows this summer. :)

We had a fun weekend spending a lot of time outside in this beautiful Texas winter weather!
